AIA members from across Ohio met in Columbus on March 6 for AIA Ohio Advocacy Day. Advocacy Day included a panel discussion on affordable housing legislation featuring Representative Gail Pavliga and Representative Jim Hoops. Attendees also heard from Karen Kasler of the Ohio Statehouse News Bureau, AIA Ohio Lobbyist Luther Liggett, and Ohio Board of Architects Executive Director Shannon Himes. In the afternoon, members met with legislators at the statehouse to discuss issues important to the profession. AIA Columbus was well-represented in these meaningful conversations.
