The American Institute of Architects Elevates Local Architect to the College of Fellows
AIA Fellowship Recognizes Significant Contributions to the Profession of Architecture and Society
The 2022 Jury of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects elevated one AIA Columbus member to its prestigious College of Fellows, an honor awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the profession. This year 88 AIA members were elevated and will be honored at an investiture ceremony at the AIA Conference on Architecture in Chicago. The Fellowship program was developed to elevate those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Out of a total AIA membership of over 95,000, less than 4 percent are distinguished with this honor. Election to fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of architects as individuals, but also their significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.
We are pleased to announce the 2022 AIA Columbus elevated Fellow: Yanitza Brongers-Marrero, FAIA.
A total of five new Fellows have been elevated in the 2022 Class from Ohio. Congratulations to all!
