The last 18 months have been full of uncertainty. There have been dark days, but in those days we saw some bright lights and in those bright lights we found hope.
These are some of the bright lights we are celebrating,
Moody Nolan received the 2021 Architecture Firm Award, the highest honor the Institute confers to architecture practices. The firm’s success demonstrates that diversity can be a force multiplier in architecture. Never has a Columbus firm or an Ohio firm won this prestigious award. We are honored and proud that you are headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
Timothy Hawk, FAIA, was elected to be Treasurer of the Institute. Tim works tirelessly to move the profession forward. He does it because he cares about architects and the built environment. We are fortunate to have Tim representing us in a national leadership position at AIA.
Matt Toddy, AIA and Jonathan Moody, AIA received the 2021 Young Architects Award. This award honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the architecture profession early in their careers.
Yanitza Brongers-Marrero, AIA elected to the Strategic Council in 2020.
Greg Mare, FAIA and Terry Sullivan, FAIA elevated to fellowship in 2020.
You. Most importantly, we celebrate all of you. Your grit, perseverance, and resiliency, continues to inspire us. We are proud to call you fellow members, colleagues, and friends.
