Virtual Site Observation: A Review of Digital Techniques for Documenting and Analyzing Site Conditions
In conjunction with the MBA and EP Committees, the Technology in Architectural Practice (TAP) Committee will be sharing innovative methods of image capture and documentation to aid architects in site observation. As remote-work has become a part of the design and construction processes, architects have continued developing innovative ways to observe structures, both existing and in construction. While some of these techniques were created out of necessity, due to site and travel restrictions, many virtual and digital documentation techniques can provide value as best practices for architects in the future
