Shawn Conyers, AIA, NCARB, is a Principal Architect at Meyers+Associates, having joined the firm in 2007, bringing with him unwavering positivity and a collaborative leadership style. As a mentor and leader, he is dedicated to assisting and nurturing the growth of architects, helping them build their skill sets and reach their full potential. With his diverse skill set and experience, Shawn has played a vital role in overseeing and shaping the firm’s roster in hospitality, sports and recreation facilities, adaptive reuse, and office projects. His ability to navigate complex projects has helped establish Meyers+Associates as a leader in creating built environments that truly enrich both communities and individuals.

Before his architectural career, Shawn excelled as an athlete, earning a four-year varsity letter on The Ohio State University’s wrestling team and even competing in the 2000 Olympic Trials. This commitment to excellence extends beyond sports, as Shawn actively engages with the community as a member of the City of Columbus Victorian Village Commission, contributing to the preservation and development of the built environment. He also dedicates his time and expertise as a youth coach within the Bishop Watterson High School Eagle Wrestling Club community, shaping the next generation of leaders.

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Shawn graduated from The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture (BSArch ’96, MArch ’98). His contributions to the architectural profession have been recognized through prestigious accolades, such as being named one of Columbus Business First’s 40 under 40.
