The AIA Columbus Committee on Design and NOMAColumbus hosted a table at the ASCE Central Ohio STEM Expo. This is a free educational outreach event targeted to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Over 200 students attended to participate in fun and interactive activities in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math fields. The AIA Columbus/NOMAColumbus activities included coloring pages, building with marshmallows and toothpicks, and viewing architecture drawings and models. Other exhibitors included local professional organizations, universities, and university student groups, consulting firms, non-profits, and STEM related companies.
