Pecha Kucha of Unbuilt Potential

The AIA Columbus Committee on Design hosted a Pecha Kucha of Unbuilt Potential in March.  PechaKucha is a style where each presentation shares a maximum of 20 slides moving automatically every 20 seconds while the presenter is talking (6 minutes and 40 seconds total). The focus of these presentations was unbuilt work that may be speculative or planned to be constructed. Presenters included David Meleca, FAIA, Erin Reilly-Sanders, AIA, Dan Hanes, AIA, Matthew Teismann, AIA, and a team from AECOM.  Thank you to AECOM for hosting and to Aimée Moore, Assoc. AIA, and Bill Cody, AIA, for organizing this event.

Emerging Professionals, Young Architects, and Fellows Fireside Chat

The Emerging Professionals and Young Architects Committee, MBA Committee, and Fellows Committee hosted a Fireside Chat focused on shaping your career.  Attendees enjoyed time to network and then sat down for a conversation about identifying your skills and passions and planning the next steps in your career journey.  Panelists for the discussion were Yanitza Brongers-Marrero, FAIA, Erin Reilly-Sanders, AIA, Bharat Baste, AIA, and Bhakti Bania, AIA.  Thank you to BBCO for hosting!
