The AIA Columbus LGBTQIA+ Alliance Group met for the first time last week at Parable Cafe. This Alliance Group is one of fifteen in the United States, and the first of its kind in Ohio. The meeting included an introduction and overview of goals including having a building industry presence at Columbus’ Pride celebrations in June. All members of the LGBTQIA+ community, queer designers, and Allies are welcome and encouraged to join future gatherings of the Alliance Group.
