In August, the AIA Columbus Fellows and EP Committees hosted a Sip and Sketch. Ruth Gless, FAIA, and Tim Hawk, FAIA, gave a lesson in sketching basics to start. Following the lesson were three rounds of sketching the surrounding buildings at different scales. Each round included a throwdown for everyone to view each other’s work and discuss. These exercises challenged attendees to see the city around them in different ways and to hear and see different perspectives of the city.
