Compared to urban health systems, rural health systems may be small in size, but can be a testing ground for challenging the status quo of healthcare. However, with the recent pandemic, these health systems have been pushed to the brink. These systems are, in most cases, the heart of the community and are vital for the survival of many of these communities. Our session will look at the challenges that the rural health systems of Ohio face and how we as practitioners can help.
