The Energy Advancement and Innovation Center (EAIC) is an experiential hub for energy research and technology incubation at The Ohio State University. The facility supports research and development of the next generation of smart energy systems, renewable energy, and green mobility, and is designed as a beacon of high-performance, energy-efficient design anchoring the new West Campus.
A building design focused on well-being within the workplace environment enhancing collaboration, innovation, and productivity. Healthy spaces consider indoor air quality, daylight levels, and access to outdoor spaces. The Advancement and Innovation Center goes beyond a focus on the well-being of its occupants by delivering a high-performing building that exemplifies the future of smart energy design. Setting aggressive performance targets and showcasing cutting edge infrastructure technologies will enable the Innovation Center to act as a living laboratory, continually fed by the research and development occurring within its walls.
