Your Essential Duties: As a Project Architect, you’ll wear many hats collaborating with Project Designers, Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers Your tasks will span from collaborating on architectural documents to delivering presentations. As a Project Architect you will serve as the team’s technical leader, tasked with transforming design concepts into precise construction documents. In this role, you must possess a comprehensive understanding of building codes and the factors influencing construction feasibility.
- Assist the Project Manager as directed.
- Work alongside the Project Designer, Interior Designer, and/or Planner to develop construction documents aligning with design objectives.
- Collaborate with the Specification Writer to ensure project technical requirements are met.
- Coordinate quality reviews with other Project Assistants.
- Lead owner/user meetings during the Design Development phase to ensure project requirements are incorporated into construction documents accurately.
- Conduct code reviews and liaise with code officials for necessary approvals.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Engineers.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Builders (CM’s, GC’s, Developers, Owner’s Representatives, etc.).
- Work closely with equipment vendors for timely and proper installation.
- Review and approve shop drawings.
- Perform Construction Administration duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Bachelors degree in Architecture; Masters Degree preferred.
- Experience: 5 or more years of relevant experience in architecture
- Certificates/Licenses: Architectural Registration, LEED AP
- Design Thinking: Generating innovative solutions, applying design principles, and showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
- Team Collaborator: Balancing collaborative teamwork with individual responsibilities, fostering a positive team spirit, and actively contributing to team success.
- Quality Advocate: Exhibiting precision, thoroughness, and an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.
- Efficient Executor: Completing tasks promptly and consistently striving to enhance productivity.
- Effective Communicator: Excellent communication skills, from reading and analyzing documents to presenting information effectively.
- Your Toolset: Proficiency in Autodesk Suite, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel
