Overview
We are in search of a creative Project Architect with 5+ years of experience to work in a collaborative environment on the development of architectural projects from initiation to closeout. This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Architect at Feinknopf Macioce Schappa Architects, Inc. in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing a project team, from design through construction documents
Serve as construction administrator
Responsible for coordination of engineering and other consultants
Contribute to all aspects and phases of the architectural design process
Assist in creating project schedules and budgets
Knowledgeable with regard to building codes & construction techniques
Attend and lead project meetings
Participate in professional development and mentorship roles
Participate in marketing/business development efforts
Desire for professional advancement and possible ownership track
Skills & Qualifications
Licensed architect with current registration in the State of Ohio
A minimum of 5 years of experience managing all phases of architectural projects
Knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and building systems
Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (Revit) and AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of architectural billings
Considered a leader with the ability to mentor and help others grow professionally
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and have excellent verbal and written skills
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and have the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
Experience and interest in historic preservation
Experience with the State of Ohio, other public, and civic projects
