The AIA Columbus LGBTQIA+ Alliance Group participated in the Stonewall Columbus Pride March on June 15. The March included roughly 300 groups and 20,000 participants while over 700,000 visitors attended the Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival and March. The annual Pride Festival and March bring together the LGBTQ+ community, our allies, and our supporters to stand up for rights and justice for all in these communities who are still oppressed and unheard, and to commemorate and celebrate our collective accomplishments and those of whom have paved the way before us. We believe it is important for us to have a presence in the March as we strive to make the design community a welcoming space for all. Happy Pride!
