The City seeks to add another motivated, energetic individual to complement our existing Planning and Community Development staff. Under the supervision of the Director of Planning and Community Development, the Planning and Community Development Specialist will assist with planning, community development, zoning and economic development matters, initiatives and projects.
Activities may include assistance with research relating to planning, zoning and economic development, collaboration on and preparation of urban planning studies and design concepts both directly and with outside consultants, assistance with routine department administrative processes, assistance with communications relating to economic and community development and planning issues and initiatives, assistance with technical reviews, preparation of written reports and recommendations regarding potential development projects, support for Boards and Commissions, and such other related duties as may from time to time be required.
