Earn up to 8 AIA Learning Units!
Design professionals are invited and encouraged to attend the Ohio Construction Conference on Tuesday, February 23 at COSI Columbus. This daylong annual conference, sponsored by The Builder’s Exchange, is an opportunity for design and construction professionals to come together for an energizing dialogue on issues impacting the profession.
The conference includes many unique programs on BIM, Integrated Project Delivery and Sustainable Design. “What’s Going On Out There?” examines initiatives happening at the national level including AIA’s 2030 Commitment. The team behind the Dell Children’s Medical Center, the first LEED Platinum certified hospital, will discuss the operational, environmental and organizational ROI that have resulted since the hospital opened in 2007. An afternoon program will examine what changes to risk management we can expect as we come out of the recession of 2009? And finally, back by popular demand, the Owner’s Roundtables – an opportunity to meet with owners in small groups to discuss challenges we face as an industry.
Spend a day with your colleagues, clients – and potential clients – on these and many other programs. This is also a great opportunity to complete up to 8 AIA learning units – including the 4 required sustainable design (SD) units.
