IT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
The job responsibilities of the IT Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support during office hours and after hours when scheduled
- Communicate with external IT company
- Track and monitor issues to insure timely resolution
- Escalate tickets if issue can not be identified and resolved
- Manage software licenses
- Prepare and maintain system support documentation
- Participate in and conduct technical training programs for team members
- Stay current on all software updates and training
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related fields, or equivalent experience
- Must have excellent problem-solving abilities, oral and written communication skills, as well as organizational skills
Preferred
- Appropriate professional certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of physical network connectivity
- Strong knowledge of Incidental management process and problem/resolution activities.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring tools
Desired
- Experience working with an AEC firm
