With the redevelopment of a 15-acre urban brownfield site, this growing pharmaceutical-tech firm has created a unique headquarters campus with a focus on employee health and well-being. The space ensures people of all abilities have what they need to be successful at work and can access all areas of the campus, including diverse workspaces, alternative transportation options, and the ability to work outdoors. Employees will also have access to outdoor walking paths, the Scioto River and downtown bike paths, a fitness area and hydration bars on each floor. And a central staircase connects all floors, promoting movement and encouraging social connections and collaboration.
The campus features two post-tension concrete mid-rise office buildings, totaling 418,000 square-feet, located above a three-level 1,900 vehicle parking garage. Enclosed pedestrian sky-bridges allow staff and visitors convenient access between the two office buildings. The exposed concrete interior provides an artistic industrial appeal complimented with natural daylighting and timber framed conference spaces with peaked timber ceilings.
In line with CoverMyMeds’ “Be Selfless” and “Do the Right Thing” core values, and commitment to the environment, they are piloting the latest in smart building technology to reduce energy consumption and limit their carbon footprint.
The campus is sustainably designed to LEED and WELL Standards.
Per CoverMyMeds visitor policy, all participants must be fully vaccinated and bring proof of vaccination (vaccination card or photo of card) to the tour. Masks are also required for all attendees.
All attendees need to bring their own PPE: hard hat, safety vest, and closed toed shoes.
