Although parametric design and design computation came to prominence primarily through the formally complex work of early innovators, the real impact of data-driven design methodologies may actually be found far beneath the surface of today’s best buildings. Forward-looking design firms are applying advanced computational design techniques to address questions of performance at all scales.
