POSITION: Architecture Instructor
REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Satellite Programming

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful applicants must be able to secure a career/technical license through the Ohio Department of Education; Five years of related full-time work experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree in architecture with a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in related field preferred; Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit and Sketchup preferred; Experience in Construction Management, Architectural Design and Modeling and Drafting is preferred; Prior positive experience working with young adults is beneficial; Applicants should also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work with business/industry and post-secondary institutions is required; Successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check.
RESPONSIBILITES: The Architecture Instructor will teach junior and senior labs to prepare students for college and/or a career in the architecture career field. Job responsibilities will include marketing the program to prospective students and the coordination of the curriculum with an advisory committee. Lab instruction also includes promotion of student involvement in Career Technical Student Organizations.
SALARY: Placement on the certified teacher salary schedule.
