We’re excited to introduce the possibility of bringing a Canstruction Event to Columbus! For those unfamiliar, Canstruction is a fantastic charity initiative where teams of architects, engineers, and creative individuals come together to build large-scale sculptures made entirely of stacked canned foods. After the sculptures are displayed for the community to enjoy, all the canned goods are donated to local food banks to help those in need.
This is a great opportunity to showcase creativity, teamwork, and community spirit while making a meaningful impact. To get this event off the ground in Columbus, we need to gauge interest and determine how many individuals or teams would be willing to participate this year.
Since this will be our first year, we plan to start with slightly smaller sculptures to manage costs and simplify the design and construction process. This will help us ease into the event and set the stage for future growth.
