The program brings together some of the most preeminent Ohio consultants in the adaptive reuse of historic properties. The presentation will focus on multiple considerations in projects that involve historic properties. The goal is to teach the architect a different way to approach projects with historic structures. The talks will range from the assessment of an historic property for possible re-uses, to the structural consideration that every architect should know, to cost comparisons between demolish and rebuild, and finally, how think like a preservation architect.
