April 28th Continuing Education: LEED 5 Years Later - Performance Review, Case Studies & Lessons Learned

This continuing education presentation will focus on project case studies taken from Heapy Engineering's involvement in over 140 LEED projects, of which 33 have already achieved certification (17 GOLD, 8 SILVER, 8 CERTIFIED). An evaluation of "What are the main contributing factors to LEED Project Success (and Failure)" has been conducted by Heapy from this large sampling of mostly mid-west LEED projects. Aspects of both the Design and the LEED Documentation / Certification Processes for these LEED projects were evaluated. Energy efficiency goals and actual utility bill comparisons are also available from several projects.
